I think the legalization of gay marriage is inherently a letter of the law v. intent issue. Of course, it's not solely about that; it's also a god-hates-fags, self-insecurity issue, but I can't really argue with the way people feel.
If marriage is something between a man and a woman, then gays cannot be married.
But if marriage is something between two people who love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together, then anyone ought to be allowed to marry.
Amending the Constitution to define marriage is just ridiculous.

the radio is always havingn bull shit about how it should be leagal i didn't even know it was illegal. I think that it should be legal i see nothing wrong with it. I heard some people say marriage cannot be between people of the same sex because it began in religon bond forever thing with a man and a woman.

but it gay people need a new name for it i think they should have to change it for opposite sex marriages as well. The government should not deny a marriage just because it's people of the same sex. It sickens me how some people want it to be illegal and everything. I don't know why a religion would consider homosexuality a sin. I guess I can see it accept it just don't agree with it. A girl in my english class has a viewpoint opposite of mine but they way she expresses is a way that i can acept.

umm... Ryan... Air Force One doesn't really get shot down too often does it... but yeah, I'm all for gay marriage. I was watching Sunday Morning on CBS today and they had this whole thing about how San Fransico or someplace out in California just legalized gays getting married and thousands of gay couples flocked there to get married, some even as far away as NYC. So yeah. I'm cool on that subject and people are dumb if they are going to deny the rights of any person to marry whom they choose. Gay marriage rox!!!!
